Kansas City Round Two

We flew back into Kansas City from Utah and spent the rest of the week there relaxing and hanging out. Love being with family, and I am so glad we had so much time to do that this year.

This was a Christmas present, and we all worked on it a little. Love the feeling of finishing a big puzzle!

One day, Mom, Linc and I went to downtown OP to Penzys spices in search for this... So glad we found it!

Linc got a Hungarian cookbook and nokedli maker for Christmas, so we made several Hungarian meals over the holidays. This is the nokedli maker in action...

One night we went to Twisters to get some ice cream. The doggies came with us, and they gave us two doggie cones! The dogs loved it!


We did some shopping, and got found some excellent deals. This is one of many, a leather jacket for Case!

Every year Casey's boy scout troop goes to Westin. Its a little town north of the airport in Missouri where they have a few "mountains" and make fake snow for skiing. It was rather small to see after coming from the real mountains. We didn't ski, but went to watch Casey in action. One of the kids in his troop fell several times and finally had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Poor thing. Other than that, we had a great time observing, and it was a beautiful day!




The next day...

This has been the weirdest winter around for everyone. We had some of the nicest weather. We were able to get outside a walk, and puppies loved their sun time.



What a great vacation we had :) We were sad to see it end!
